Flags Bags Quilts Patches

This piece was a slow process of searching and reflecting; looking for the right amount of rhythm, pattern, and resonance. Ultimately (9 dye baths and a kimono heirloom later) resulting an intense visual vibration. Scroll further for some of the panels I made while in the planning stages. I'm excited to be exhibiting this piece and the accumulation of matter that went into its making, slated for Spring 2026 at St. John Fisher University.
